Isaac Pock

“It was a great experience!

The coaches were very caring and helpful in correcting my technique, which allowed me to run faster. They are particular about every detail that can affect a run; they even corrected how I tie my shoes for a better fit. This level of detail is something I've never experienced at other clubs and has directly led to new personal bests."

From Isaac’s Parents:

Our son Isaac Pock joined FWCC in September 2024 after a trial session. In a short span of nearly a year, Isaac’s running form and speed improved significantly.

Before FWCC, Isaac had trained with other running clubs, but most of his running forms were not corrected, which adversely impacted his performance. In contrast, the coaches at FWCC place a lot of emphasis on executing the correct running forms as a strong foundation for performance excellence. The encouragement, empathy and patience from the coaches at FWCC give Isaac a safe space to learn and enable him to build up mental resilience and physical strength. We are particularly impressed at the level of detail Coach Fabian corrects Isaac in tying his shoes properly so that they will bind to his feet and not slip out when he runs, affecting his performance.

Finally, after a long break of about two and a half years, Isaac regains his confidence to participate in competitions again. With these newly acquired skills, we hope Isaac can win medals and contribute to FWCC’s overall reputation.
